In September, Mom and I participated in Cupcake Camp OC . It was a local gathering of cupcake professionals, home bakers, and cupcake lovers, to share in their love of cupcakes and to raise money for a good cause, Children of the Night.
We brought our "Pucker Up, Sunshine!" cupcakes: Lemon-filled Limoncello Cupcake with Lemon Buttercream, Lemon Drop Candy Crunch, Pop Rocks, and a hand-piped candy sunshine.

Our "You are a Gentleman and a Scholar" cupcakes: Chocolate-Guinness Cupcake with Coffee Buttercream and a Chocolate Moustache on top! (My FAV!!)
And our "Saturday Morning" cupcakes: Peanut Butter Cap'n Crunch Cupcakes with Strawberry Nesquik Buttercream and Crunch Berries Cap'n Crunch (spoon included).

We also submitted an entry for the 9-11 Memorial Design category.
Our cupcake took 2nd Place in the Professional Baker category!!!
Not bad for a couple of home bakers!
All in all, it was a great day of sharing the CUPCAKE LOVE! ♥
